So here it is. Another year and another list. It’s been a great year for music. So hopefully my list can represent that to some extent. There is no order, besides the fact that my favourite song of the year is the first one. Enjoy.

Don’t really know what to say. My favourite song of the year. The honesty in this song is incredible. Not heard anything like this before. Endless soul. Check out his album for sure.

Just pure bliss. This free download from Shigeto is a simple and beautiful roller to make sink into a state of relaxation.

Eugy ft Mr Eazi – Body

That slow one that makes you wanna move. It would be silly to ignore the amount of afro-beat bangers that have come out this year. This one is maybe favourite. This a style of music these guys own and define. Infectious.

Esta – Adorn Riddim

Gotta love a good remix. Adorn is a modern classic and this bouncy mix hits the sweet spot.

De La Soul featuring Snoop Dogg – Pain

Really didn’t know which song to pick off one of the albums of the year.  Highly recommend the album.

Dan Kye – iigo

A sound that is very popular at the moment. And this label is able to provide that quality. A smooth little roller with a nice little vocal. Silky smooth.

Kojo Funds & Abra Cadabra – Dun Talkin

One of the anthems of the year. All about hearing this out.

ScHoolboy Q featuring Miguel, Justine Skye – Overtime

Could’ve pick any song of this album. Nice little collab here with two vocal appearances.

Fat Joe & Remy Ma featuring French Montana, Infared – All The Way Up

A weak year for hip-hop bangers in my opinion. This one a stand out though. Had everyone singing. I’m all the way up. Nothing can stop me.

Isaiah Rashad – Free Lunch

One of the most underrate rappers out there.

Konshens – Bruk Off

This years bashment/dancehall smash hit. Era defining riddim.

Love a long deep-tech-house roller to zone you out. Just deep all round.

Vybz Kartel – Fever

How can a man in jail make so many tunes. Another trademark Vybz banger.

Tory Lanez – LUV

A big one from Tory Lanez. That hip-hop bashment hybrid.
