So it was my turn to fly solo on the Whatever Sessions and had a number of ideas but decided to showcase the one of the most influential producers in music, The Neptunes.

The Neptunes comprised of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo pretty much produced every Hip Hop and RnB hit in the early to mid 2000’s along with Timbaland. Producing some sick beats from the likes of Kelis and Busta Rhymes to Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake they also had success with their own output with N.E.R.D.

I started to get into music seriously when I started high school and these tunes all remind me of that time. The tunes are from between 1999 and 2006 with usual suspects in there as well as some forgotten gems. For me the Clipse tunes are straight up dirty beats and in true whatever session traditions it goes from Hip Hop to RnB and you even got Limp Bizkit thrown into the mix.
