Usually I’ll do an end of year mix (which I will in December), but this year has seen some good releases. Mainly in the early part of the year. As we all know now, the sounds of London don’t know what boundaries are. The mix and mash of influences means anything goes. That means anything goes in the mix. All vinyl, so no Serato in sight. Mix control madness of over the gaff. Obviously if you know the artists in the mix, then it is obvious that 808 drums and cowbells are doing it at the moment. By the end of the year, we will be somewhere else. Also I couldn’t fit in a lot of other stuff, like Preditah, Royal T, Champion, Disclosure, Dusky, Lone and Jimmy Edgar. Don’t worry the end of year one will be epic. More mixes inbetween.
