Welcome to our second session for this years carnival. We bring you some classic bangers from the 90s along with an odd song from early 2000s just to stitch everything together. Dancehall, ragga and soulful reggae made this an unforgettable decade for reggae as a whole. Early to mid 90s at Notting Hill was dominated by some of the sounds we’ve featured. It goes with out saying that Beenie was probably the biggest reggae artist at the time, King Beenie. He features only six times because you can easily do a carnival Beenie Man show on its own.

Carnival is about bangers so we stuck to that theme and tried our best to include what we could. I’m sure we’ve missed out a number of classics, but this is where the flow of tunes took us. Shabba Ranks, Capleton, Bounty Killa, Spragga Benz, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Super Cat, Buju Banton and Elephant Man all feature. If you plan to attend carnival this year or any other year its worth learning the ‘bogle dance’. Get out your double gun fingers and shake those hips. Prepare to get loose and perform some scandalous dancing. Hope you can enjoy a high energy and varied selection. Enjoy the party and spread the good vibes.
