Finally our Glastonbury Special. I actually cannot remember when we recorded this show, hence today’s date. As if that matters anyway, at least it’s here three months later. Why is it special? If you love music, you have all the variety. If you love to party, enjoy the great outdoors and be part of a movement that brings together like minded people, then you will always treasure the feeling of freedom that this brings to you. It goes without saying that the music is only one part of the festival (be it a huge part). ONLY when you are there can you truly appreciate the true greatness of the festival. I know it has been commercialised, yuppified, and its routes are fading, however if you make the effort you can experience a different side to the festival that originally made it what it was. In all honesty it wouldn’t be such a bad thing if Glastonbury announced that the time had come to gradually close the festival over the next few years. They would be able to protect their historical legacy upon the culture of England and music festivals alike. No point diluting yourselves with all the hypocrisy of other festivals.

Amidst all the chaotic festival activities we actually saw the following artists. We didn’t include everyone (only missed out one or two artists), partly because we didn’t bothered gathering all the music. My favorite acts were Dj Shadow, Queens of The Stone Age and Chemical Brothers. To find out daniels, ask him on his twitter (it was probably Ragoo Dixit) Enjoy. Grab the other shows while they are still up.
