1. Andrea Oliva – Vermona

It took me months to find the name of this tune after hearing it get dropped at Circoloco opening at DC10. Certified banger this one released on The Martinez Brothers label Cuttin Headz.

2. The Martinez Brothers – Stuff In The Trunk

The Martinez Brothers are some of the funnest djs out there whenever they are in the booth you can tell they are having a good time and they bring the party. This one was one of the tracks of the summer in Ibiza.

3. Mighty Dub Katz – Let The Drums Speak (Butch Remix)

Butch has been my favourite discovery of the year, such a versatile producer. This track I remember vividly getting dropped by several djs this year.

4. Ovidi Adlert – 1996 Visions

This one goes in hard. Drums, Acid synths and catchy vocal sample. This one is a hands in the air business. COME ON YOU LOT!!

5. Kaytranada – Lite Spots

This was my summer feel good track. Kaytranada released one of the albums of the year with 99.9% and the video is also great.

6. Sir Spyro ft Teddy Bruckshot, Lady Chan & Killa P

Skepta may have got all the plaudits this year but this is the Grime track of the year. This one tore up the dance floors and it’s proper tough.

7. DFX – Relax Your Body (Ricardo Villalobos Remix)

This track is 19 minutes long and when I heard it on the Amnesia terrace with Ricardo Villalobos on the decks I was experiencing the best dj I have ever seen. I was totally zoned out and feeling the music. The best dj in the world.

8. Kanye West – Real Friends

First of two Kanye tracks this one was deep and had meaning to it. I wasn’t a fan of the album so much to be honest but the first two tracks he revealed had me thinking it would be a classic.

9. Schoolboy Q – That Part (Black Hippy Remix)

Schoolboy Q is always on point Oxymoron was hard to follow up but he did it with The Blank Face LP. This Remix featuring the whole Black Hippy squad and fire bars from Kendrick.

10. Kendrick Lamar – Untitled 07 Levitate

The man who released the best album of 2015 unexpectedly dropped Untitled at the beginning of the year and didn’t disappoint.

11. Frank Ocean – White Ferrari

For me the album of the year and this one was my favourite tracks off the album that had so many good tunes.

12. Midland – Final Credits

There is only one word that can describe this tune and that is ‘Wow’.

13. Anderson Paak ft Schoolboy Q – Am I Wrong

Great combo from these two this one has to be played in the car windows down when the sun is out.

14. Audiojack ft Kevin Knapp – Vibrate

Deep House released on Hot Creations another track that got played a lot. I first heard it at BPM festival in Mexico. Anybody with Ibiza blues should go there.

15. Skepta – Man

Killed it this year and won the Mercury prize. One of the standout tunes on the album.

16. Giggs – Whippin Excursion

Banger from Giggs always pops off in the dance.

17. Kaytranada ft Goldlink & Aluna George – Together

Another great tune from the album.

18. Kanye West ft Kendrick Lamar – No More Parties In LA

When I read about this tune you instantly knew it would be sick when you got Kendrick Lamar featuring and Madlib on production. This is Kanye rapping at his finest.

19. Chance The Rapper – Angels

Finally got to see Chance live last month and I knew that his latest album would be good when performed and that was the case. He put on a high energy performance for of good vibes. This one is my favourite from the album.

20. Frank Ocean – Pink + White

Another tune from Blonde this one being my personal favourite. The great thing about this album is that everybody had a different favourite.
