In the summer of 2022, photographer Hark1karan documented the annual Nagar Kirtan in Barking, East London. This Sikh procession, filled with devotion, music, community, and service, brings people together to celebrate the values of unity and faith. Through his lens, Hark1karan captures the warmth of the sangat (congregation), the beauty of tradition, and moments of togetherness that reflect both cultural heritage and universal humanity.
